About This Position

ABOUT THE ROLE The County of San Diego Department of Public Works is seeking an exceptionally qualified individual for the unclassified management position of LUEG Program Manager for Airport Real Property and Administration. This role operates within the Airport Enterprise Fund and Airport Division, focusing on the strategic management of real property and administrative programs to support airport operations and county objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage and oversee airport real property and administration programs within the LUEG framework. - Support the County's strategic plan by integrating values of integrity, equity, access, belonging, excellence, and sustainability into daily operations. - Provide data-driven, innovative, and inclusive services to strengthen communities and support airport enterprise objectives. - Perform additional responsibilities and duties as outlined in the detailed official job brochure for the position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Candidates must possess the specific education, experience, and professional qualifications required for the LUEG Program Manager classification as detailed in the official job brochure. - Demonstrated ability to meet the minimum requirements outlined in both the Work Experience and Supplemental Questionnaire sections of the application. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be willing to serve as a Disaster Service Worker. Under California Government Code Sections 3100 - 3109, all public employees are required to participate in disaster service activities as assigned by their employer or by law. - Must be able to perform essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation provided on a case-by-case basis for qualified individuals with disabilities.
