Scott Webber

Scott Webber, DrPH, MBA, MPA, MPH, is Director of IT Procurement and Budget at the New York City Department of Correction, where he oversees technology procurement, budgeting, contracting and strategic sourcing initiatives supporting one of the nation’s largest municipal correctional systems. With more than two decades of New York City government experience, he has worked extensively at the intersection of public-sector management, technology, finance and procurement. His work includes managing complex technology acquisitions, developing procurement and cost-saving strategies, overseeing consultants and vendors, and recruiting and developing staff. His interests include government modernization, responsible use of artificial intelligence, public-sector efficiency, workforce development and finding practical ways to improve how government operates.
